The LaunchPad High School Summer League is a high-level, competitive league designed for players who want real reps, elite coaching, and structured development throughout the summer. Led by current MCAL high school coaches and played on local MCAL high school fields, this league delivers meaningful games, professional instruction, and unmatched training access.

League Overview

  • 4-team league

  • Limited to the first 60 registered players

  • 12-game regular season with a playoff system

  • 13 games guaranteed per team

  • League begins June 6, with first game June 15

  • No games July 1 – July 7

  • Playoffs held July 25 & 26

  • Available to graduating classes of 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029

  • Includes (2) Jerseys (Home & Away) and a Hat

  • LaunchPad Access

  • Cost: $1,500

Coaching & Competition

  • All games are coached by current MCAL high school coaches

  • Games are played at local MCAL high school fields

  • Competitive, organized environment focused on development and team play

Schedule and Access

Game Schedule

  • 2–3 games per week

  • Most games played Monday–Thursday and a few Saturdays

  • Built to balance competition, recovery, and development

LaunchPad Training Access (Included)

League players receive exclusive access to LaunchPad throughout the summer season:

  • Weekday Access

    •Access from 1:00–3:00 PM, on game days- weekdays only

  • HitTrax technology access for performance-based training

  • A structured space to get extra reps, fine-tune skills, and stay game-ready

Training Weekend

(Season Kickoff)

The league kicks off with a training weekend featuring 2 practices (June 6 and 7) led by MCAL coaches. This weekend is designed to set expectations, establish team chemistry, and prepare players for the season ahead.

We’re excited to offer an optional, high-performance summer training opportunity led by Jalal Leach, former San Francisco Giants player and San Marin High School Alumni, designed for athletes who are serious about measurable development during the season.

This specialized program focuses strictly on:

  • Hitting development

  • Velocity & power-based throwing (non-pitching)

  • Proteus rotational and arm-action power training

  • Objective performance testing and feedback

Training takes place in small pods (6 players max) to ensure high reps, efficiency, and individualized attention.

Program Details

  • 8-week program (aligned with summer league)

  • Weekly 2-hour training session

  • Performance Combine with power, throwing, running, and hitting metrics

This is an additional cost outside the High School League and requires a separate registration process
